[font=PMingLiU][size=16pt][font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]一個人倏爾變得蠻橫無理，我們會用「發[/size][/font][font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]long[/size][/font][font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]o黎」來形容他。究竟「Long黎」二字應該怎樣寫呢？[/size][/font][font=宋体][size=14pt][/size][/font]
[font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]        其實「Longo黎」是「狼戾」的口語變調。「狼」字本讀陽平聲，即「郎」音，但這裡卻讀作陰平聲。情況正如蒼蠅的「蠅」。[/size][/font]
[font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]讀書的時候，我們會讀正音陽平聲[/size][/font][font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]([/size][/font][font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]「形」[/size][/font][font=PMingLiU][size=14pt])[/size][/font][font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]，但在口語中我們有時卻會讀陰平聲[/size][/font][font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]([/size][/font][font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]「英」[/size][/font][font=PMingLiU][size=14pt])[/size][/font][font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]。[/size][/font]
[font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]比如「烏蠅」，我們通常會讀成「烏英」。至於「戾」，根據《廣韻》，我們應讀作「郎計切」，陽去聲，即「麗」音。[/size][/font][/size][/font]

[font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]可是由於變調的關係，這裡讀作陰上聲。大家不妨想像一下，「大」的讀書音是陽去聲，但當我們說「係咁大」的時候，「大」往往讀成「歹徒」的「歹」，陰上聲。[/size][/font]

[font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]「戾」的口語變調的原理，與「大」同出一轍。或許「戾」跟「眼淚」的「淚」字形相近，現在大部分的人都將「戾」錯讀成「淚」，不讀正音「麗」。[/size][/font]

[font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]「狼戾」一詞，來源極為古老。[/size][/font]
[font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]
[/size][/font][font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]《戰國策‧燕策一》有云：「夫趙王之狼戾無親，大王之所明見也。」狼之生性兇殘，是人所共知的事實。「戾」在東漢許慎的《說文解字》中的解釋是「曲也」。據此引伸，「戾」可以被看作「乖曲」。[/size][/font]

[/size][/font][font=PMingLiU][size=14pt]是故「狼戾」即是兇殘、乖曲、野蠻的意思。[/size][/font]
